Hi Fellow CFA Members -

As we get closer to this years 2024 CFA Reunion in Charleston, I wanted to let everyone know what the plan is. If you have any questions about the Reunion, feel free to contact Ed at cfa-secretary@cogswellfamily.org.

Thursday, October 10th

3-4:30 pm - The host hotel is the Town and Country Inn (2008 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407). We will have a conference room reserved at the hotel on the first floor of the hotel. Pick up your name tags here and feel free to socialize with other CFA Reunion attendees as they show up.

We’ll have some sodas, snacks and a pay-as-you-go bar (cash only), along with some games we can play, as we get to know each other. The pay-as-you-go bar will be open for four hours starting at 5:30 pm. We’ll also have pamphlets of things to do in Charleston. This will be a good time to work out which groups want to go where. We can have some paper available for people to sign up for things to do while you’re in Charleston.

5 pm – William Cogswell, the Mayor of Charleston will speak to the Association.

6 – 10 pm – We’ll socialize more, and get a picture of the attendees with the CFA Coat-of-Arms.

Friday, October 11th

8 am – Meet at the Town and Country Inn for breakfast

10 am – We’ll hold the 2024 CFA Biennial Meeting at 10 am. This is in the same conference room we used on Thursday.

5 pm – We’re all going to eat at the Charleston Crab House (145 Wappoo Creek Drive). This is a pretty big place. Every attempt will be made for us to sit together, but this will be a great time. The attached menu is what each of us can choose to eat. The cost is $47 a person. Tax and gratuity are not included in the $47.

Saturday, October 12th

9 am - We’ll meet for breakfast for breakfast. The current plan is to go to the Golden Corral #2599 (4968 Centre Pointe Drive in Charleston). After that, we can get together and see the sites.
